ChainCatcher 消息，据 CoinDesk 报道，PayPal 前区块链业务负责人 José Fernández da Ponte 已加入恒星发展基金会(SDF)，担任总裁兼首席增长官。同时，基金会还任命前 Block 和 Blockchain.com 高管 Jason Karsh 为首席营销官。
Fernández da Ponte 曾主导 PayPal 稳定币项目，此次加入将推动 Stellar 在金融普惠和资产代币化领域的发展。数据显示，Stellar 原生代币 XLM 今年已上涨 38%。
