Sonic: The airdrop will start this month, with a total of 190.5 million S tokens, and the first batch will be 25% available for claim

ChainCatcher news, according to official information, the first season Sonic (S) airdrop will distribute a total of 190.5 million S tokens to users to incentivize participation from users and developers in its ecosystem. The airdrop will also reward participants of historical activities on Opera, Sonic Arcade users, and Shard NFT minters.

The first batch of airdrops will be available for claim six months after the launch of Sonic (around June 2025), where users can immediately claim 25% of their allocation, while the remaining 75% will be released linearly in the form of NFTs over a period of 270 days. If the locked portion is claimed early, a certain percentage of token burning will be required as a penalty, with the burning rate decreasing over time.
