ChainCatcher news, according to Cointelegraph, Singapore-based digital asset infrastructure provider Safeheron recently launched an open-source Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) framework. This solution is developed based on the Intel SGX SDK and written in modern C++, aiming to enhance security and privacy protection in Web3 areas such as DeFi, payment services, and DAOs.

The framework allows clients to create a secure isolated "enclave" space through cloud services that support Intel SGX, preventing external attacks and even internal hardware threats. Currently, privacy blockchains like Oasis Network and Secret Network have adopted similar technologies. Safeheron CEO Wade Wang stated that the decision to go open-source stems from concerns that closed systems in the industry hinder innovation.
