Space ID launches Payment ID to connect centralized applications with Web3 applications

ChainCatcher news, according to Crowdfund Insider, the digital identity platform Space ID has announced the launch of Payment ID, which connects centralized applications and Web3 applications, allowing cryptocurrency transfers to any address, chain, or wallet.

Currently, Payment ID has been integrated into MetaMask via SPACE ID Snap, allowing manual mapping to CEX deposit addresses, with automatic integration with Binance coming soon. Once live, the digital ID will automatically associate with all Binance deposit addresses upon login, and integrations with other CEX and Web3 wallets are also in progress.

Creating a Payment ID requires a Gmail or Yahoo email account. Space ID uses a zkEmail solution based on a decentralized zero-knowledge (ZK) architecture to generate ZK proofs, enabling email login for on-chain interactions while protecting user privacy.
