Insiders: Bitstamp will launch regulated derivatives trading in Europe

according to two informed sources, cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp plans to launch regulated crypto derivatives trading in Europe.

Bitstamp has long focused on compliance and is one of the few crypto trading platforms that holds a Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) license, which is a pan-European regulatory framework for securities and derivatives trading that was revised in 2022 to cover crypto assets.
