the publicly listed Bitcoin mining company MARA released its performance report for December, which disclosed:

• The powered hash rate increased by 15% to 53.2 EH/s;
• A total of 249 blocks (890 BTC) were produced in December, setting a record for the second highest monthly block production;
• Total Bitcoin holdings: 44,893 BTC;
• Lent out 7,377 BTC, generating additional returns;
• So far, purchased 22,065 BTC at an average price of $87,205;
• Mining output for 2024 is 9,457 BTC;
• BTC annual yield is 62.7%.
