Data: Suspected VIRTUAL project party/early participants transferred 7 million tokens to Bybit

ChainCatcher news, according to on-chain data analyst @ai_9684xtpa's monitoring, the suspected VIRTUAL project team / early participants have recharged 7 million VIRTUAL to Bybit in the past 17 hours, worth 17.09 million USD. This address has accumulated a total of 11.97 million tokens recharged to the trading platform in the past two months, valued at up to 25.74 million USD.

It is reported that this address received an airdrop of 54.85 million VIRTUAL on the Ethereum mainnet on December 23, 2023 (accounting for 5.49% of the total token supply), and then in April 2024, the tokens were cross-chained to the Base network, after which 10 million tokens were transferred to the current address through multiple intermediaries. The original address still holds VIRTUAL worth 100 million USD.

From the transaction records, VIRTUAL was initially issued on the Ethereum mainnet, then migrated to the Base network and completed its transformation and development. CMC also shows that the token is deployed on both networks simultaneously.
