The Bitcoin native application layer Rooch Network officially launched the v0.5 testnet for developers to deploy.

ChainCatcher message, Rooch Network is the native application layer of the Bitcoin ecosystem, implemented based on a stackable Layer 2 solution, dedicated to providing a one-stop platform for Bitcoin asset issuance and Bitcoin application infrastructure for users and developers.

Rooch Network has officially launched the V0.5 testnet, available for developers to deploy their experimental applications. At the same time, Rooch Portal has also officially launched, which will become a key tool for the community to explore the Bitcoin ecosystem. It is equipped with a complete set of Bitcoin-native features, including deployment, minting, trading Bitcoin assets, as well as transferring them off-chain for use in applications, or transferring them on-chain to store them on the Bitcoin network.

Rooch Network has announced a new version of the roadmap, which will soon launch a quasi-mainnet for developers and the community to collaboratively build the Rooch ecosystem. Additionally, Rooch Network has initiated an early builders program for developers and a writing competition for the community, where participating developers and users can receive ROOCH token airdrops.
