The new token economics model for EOS is scheduled to be deployed to the mainnet by the end of May.

ChainCatcher news, EOS CEO Yves La Rose stated on the X platform: "Our current goal is to complete the coding, auditing, and testing of the new EOS tokenomics model, and submit it as an MSIG (multi-signature proposal) for deployment to the mainnet by the end of May. After this initial activation phase, our goal is to launch EOS staking rewards by the end of June."
Previous news, EOS CEO proposed a new tokenomics with a proposed supply cap of 2.1 billion tokens.
