Tornado Cash 開發者審判禁止提及關鍵判例

ChainCatcher 消息，据 Decrypt 報導，美國紐約南區聯邦法院法官 Katherine Polk Failla 裁定，在 Tornado Cash 開發者 Roman Storm 的刑事審判中不得提及 Van Loon 诉財政部案判決。該案曾認定"不可變智能合約不屬於財產"。Storm 被控洗錢、逃避制裁等罪名，若成立將面臨最高 45 年監禁。
法官認為該判例與刑事案件無關且易混淆陪審團。此案將檢驗開發者是否應為代碼使用方式承擔刑責，審判定於 7 月 14 日在曼哈頓進行。
