The Rift (now known as HyperXP) is a gaming identity protocol that enables Web3 project developers to easily implement an on-chain, trustless, decentralized XP system. This system recognizes and rewards user activity and engagement, ranging from gameplay to active governance to community participation. The Rift originated as the XP system for the Lootverse, but has since evolved beyond that, first to CC0 projects and then to the general Web3 gaming ecosystem.
