NERO is an EVM compatible Modular Layer 1 that will deliver added degrees-of-freedom and flexibility to its users with a focus on user-friendliness, safety, and incentive-alignment between validators and traffic-drivers. Nero leverages the Paymaster mechanism in account abstraction to sponsor the gas fees for the first few transactions made by new users, allowing them to explore the platform without incurring initial costs.
