SlowMist is a blockchain security company. In the past six months, according to its 2026 mid-year report, 182 security incidents occurred in H1 2026, causing approximately $956 million in losses — up 50.41% year-on-year in incident count but down 59.72% in losses. In 18 incidents, nearly $118 million was recovered or frozen, accounting for 12.3% of total losses. Attack surfaces expanded to supply chains and AI agents. SlowMist also launched TrackAgent, supporting 31 public chains, integrated into its free stolen-asset assessment service, and introduced AI agent security capabilities such as MistEye Security Gate. Founded in January 2018 by a team with over a decade of front-line offensive and defensive security experience . That year, it was among the first organizations included in the MIIT "2018 China Blockchain Industry White Paper" and became the first domestic institution recommended by Etherscan for smart contract security audits; it later received National High-Tech Enterprise recognition . During 2020-2022, its tracking capabilities emerged: it assisted Lendf.Me in recovering losses, helped Poly Network recover $610 million, and helped Transit Swap recover $23.365 million within ten days . In 2024, through MistTrack and the InMist intelligence network, it helped freeze over $112 million and obtained ISO/IEC 27001 certification . Its security product system continued to mature: MistTrack holds 300M+ address tags and 90M+ risk addresses, alongside MistEye monitoring and FireWall.X . Recently it disclosed the high-risk npm worm "Mini Shai-Hulud," which steals CI/CD keys and crypto wallet information, demonstrating its supply-chain threat monitoring capability .
In the past six months, SlowMist released its 2026 H1 security report, recording 182 incidents with losses of approximately $956 million, a 50.41% YoY increase in incidents but a 59.72% decrease in losses. The company launched the Agent Security Skill, an AI-agent-focused security tool covering Skill/MCP installation detection, GitHub repository auditing, URL/document analysis, and on-chain address review. It also joined the Cyberport Web4.0 & Agentic AI Security Alliance as a founding member.
