About Predicate

Predicate is a blockchain compliance infrastructure that embeds regulatory rules directly into smart contracts. Its core business is 'programmable compliance': developers can define policies (such as address freezing, transfer restrictions, and identity verification) which are automatically enforced on-chain during transactions.

Market pain point: Traditional compliance relies on centralized off-chain monitoring, which is opaque and easy to bypass. Fully decentralized systems, on the other hand, struggle to meet regulatory requirements. Predicate bridges this gap by making compliance rules transparent, automated, and enforceable at the protocol level.

In the past six months (March to September 2026), Predicate launched 'Asset Compliance', a product specifically for tokenized assets and stablecoins. It has partnered with M0 (stablecoin infrastructure), Centrifuge (RWA platform), Stellar (payment network), and Consensys (MetaMask's stablecoin) to provide real-time sanctions screening, transfer restrictions, and automated reporting. These collaborations indicate growing adoption in the regulated asset space.

Note: No major negative events were found in the last two years, though the project faces inherent challenges of policy uncertainty in the crypto regulatory landscape.

Predicate has made significant strides in the past six months (2026-03-01 to 2026-09-01). In July, it launched Asset Compliance, a major product enabling issuers to enforce OFAC sanctions, AML rules, and transfer restrictions directly at the smart contract level. This integrates Blockaid's Risk Exposure API for real-time detection of stolen funds and malicious addresses.

Predicate also partnered with TACEO to combine privacy and compliance, allowing confidential transactions to be screened against institutional policies without exposing plaintext data. Additionally, it expanded into the Stellar ecosystem, collaborating with M0, Centrifuge, and others to bring compliance infrastructure to stablecoin and tokenized asset platforms.

Looking ahead, Predicate's roadmap focuses on deepening privacy-preserving compliance solutions, expanding cross-chain policy enforcement, and strengthening real-time risk monitoring. The team aims to position Predicate as the standard compliance layer for institutional-grade digital asset operations, with more ecosystem integrations and automated policy management tools expected in the coming quarters.
