About PlatON
PlatON, positioned as the next-generation Internet infrastructure protocol, has evolved through several pivotal milestones. In 2018, it initiated research on privacy-preserving computation networks, laying the groundwork for a decentralized AI and data exchange ecosystem. The Alaya testnet launched in 2020, followed by the official mainnet launch in 2021, establishing a foundational layer for secure multi-party computation and privacy protection. A significant turning point came in April 2023 with the release of TOPOS (Tokenized Open Payment Operating System), a Web3.0 confidential payment and clearing system designed to redefine digital asset settlement. In September 2023, PlatON published its Application Chain technical whitepaper, introducing a standardized framework for industry-specific blockchain solutions. By November 2023, it partnered with All IN PAY and dtcpay to deploy smart-terminal-based digital currency payment systems. In 2024, PlatON expanded its payment ecosystem with products like Reminet (cross-border remittance) and Mint (stablecoin issuance), followed by Topwallet and ZKpay (zero-knowledge-proof-based payments). These milestones reflect PlatON's strategic shift from core infrastructure to practical Web3 payment and clearing services, aiming to build a decentralized, privacy-preserving financial backbone for the future digital economy.
PlatON's core team includes:
