About Mona

Mona is a metaverse platform that lets creators build 3D spaces using Unity and mint them as NFTs, accessible directly in a web browser. Its core value lies in lowering the barrier for 3D content creation: instead of needing a game engine team, individual artists and designers can use familiar tools like Unity, then publish and monetize their work as on-chain assets. The platform solves the problem of high entry costs and limited distribution in traditional 3D/virtual world development, while also giving creators ownership and tradability of their virtual spaces. Over the past six months (March–September 2026), Mona has focused on improving its SDK, adding AI-assisted generation for images and 3D models, and introducing leaderboard features for games. However, specific user-facing milestones or major updates during this period are not clearly documented in available public sources. No significant negative events were found within the last two years, aside from general platform limitations such as WebGL performance constraints and the learning curve for non-game developers.
