About Delphinus Lab
Delphinus Lab is a tech provider focused on ZKWASM, a zero-knowledge virtual machine that runs WebAssembly (WASM) bytecode. Its core business is to let developers build decentralized apps using mainstream languages like Rust, C++, or Go, without needing cryptography expertise. The main pain point it addresses is the low adoption of blockchain among traditional developers: Web3 developers make up only 0.07% of all developers, and languages like Solidity or Cairo have a steep learning curve. ZKWASM lowers this barrier by compiling familiar code into WASM, which browsers natively support, and then generating zero-knowledge proofs for verification on-chain. This enables use cases like fully on-chain games, fair airdrops, and private computation, while keeping user experience close to Web2.
In the past six months (Feb–Aug 2026), Delphinus Lab has focused on practical integrations. It partnered with Blade Games to build a Unity-based verification solution, allowing C# developers to create on-chain games. It also worked with MineMatrix on a bot-resistant airdrop mechanism. Together with zkCross and Gevolut Network, it launched the ZKCross Playground platform, which opens node operation to third parties for shared verification and revenue. On the tech side, its zkWASM achieves proof generation in about 15 seconds per million instructions, though this is slower than some competitors like RISC-ZERO (10–12 seconds on a GPU 4090). The team openly acknowledges that performance alone is not the deciding factor; ecosystem maturity and developer experience matter more. No major negative events were reported in the period, aside from the competitive performance gap.
