About bullet
Bullet, originally Zeta Markets, pivoted to build a dedicated L2 on Solana. In March 2025, it launched its testnet, showcasing a custom execution layer with 0.1ms latency and 30,000 TPS. On February 13, 2026, Bullet announced the mainnet launch of perpetual contract trading, with restricted access via invite codes, gradually opening to all waitlisted users. The platform integrates derivatives, spot, and lending in a unified interface, aiming to rival centralized exchanges.
Since mainnet launch on Feb 12, 2026, Bullet has focused on scaling its Solana-based L2 perp DEX. Key progress in the past six months (Mar–Sep 2026):
Performance milestones: Achieved p50 latency of ~500μs and p99 of ~650μs for order processing, load-tested to 3M TPS with zero message loss. ClickHouse integration cut query latency from 10–15s to milliseconds, enabling real-time leaderboards, P&L, and referral tracking.
Ecosystem growth: Completed ZEX→BULLET token migration with 20% supply reserved for community. Trading volume exceeded $64M in July 2026, with growing open interest. Expanded to 18+ crypto and TradFi perp markets.
Infrastructure upgrades: Migrated analytics stack from Databricks to ClickHouse Cloud, handling 1,000x more data across staging/testnet/mainnet. Celestia DA integration ensures scalable data availability.
Future roadmap (official):
- Launch native BULLET token with farming rewards and governance
- Expand leverage up to 100x on selected markets
- Add isolated margin and sub-accounts
- Introduce insurance fund and auto-deleveraging mechanism
- Target CEX-level onboarding and liquidity depth
