About Avalon

Avalon is an interoperable digital world positioned as an AI-driven MMORPG platform. Its core business allows players to use AI tools (such as Forge, Merlin, Sage) to create game content, including NPCs, items, levels, and even entire worlds. This user-generated content (UGC) forms a shared universe, with digital asset ownership enabled via blockchain. The core competitiveness lies in combining AI creation tools with deep gameplay, lowering content creation barriers while maintaining playability.

The market pain point is that traditional games have content monopolized by developers, leaving players without creation and ownership rights; meanwhile, many blockchain games overemphasize finance at the expense of gameplay. Avalon attempts to balance both, allowing players to create and own without sacrificing game experience. In the past six months, Avalon confirmed the use of Sony's Soneium Ethereum L2 blockchain for item ownership and trading, further strengthening its digital sovereignty narrative. Additionally, its summer update showcased more creation tool details, but specific progress is limited.

In the past six months, Avalon confirmed it will use Sony's Ethereum-based L2, Soneium, as its asset ownership and trading layer for item ownership, provenance, and royalties. Blockchain elements will be abstracted away from players, with no need to manage wallets or gas fees. In its Summer Update, Avalon positioned itself as an AI-driven UGC platform. The core world remains Elysara, a 32 sq km high-fantasy MMO, with a second cyberpunk desert world, Vireon, added to the roadmap. Creator tools include: Forge (AI-generated NPCs, items, abilities, loot tables), Merin (no-code visual logic system), and Sage (AI world generation from prompts). Roadmap: July 2026 private beta focused on creator onboarding, community playtests, platform stress testing; fall 2026 "flywheel validation" covering creation, play, retention, marketplace testing, creator monetization, and community-generated content; Early Access planned for end of 2026 with persistent online worlds, creator economy, marketplace launch, and live service operations. The goal is for creators to own assets on-chain while keeping the experience close to a normal game platform, using blockchain as an ownership/monetzation layer rather than the core feature.
