About Alluvial
Alluvial is the development company behind Liquid Collective, an enterprise-grade liquid staking protocol. Its core business is providing a compliant, non-custodial staking solution for institutions. It allows users to stake assets like ETH and SOL while receiving liquid staking tokens (LSTs) that remain usable across DeFi, solving the conflict between staking rewards and capital efficiency.
The protocol's key strength lies in its enterprise-first design: multi-operator governance, institutional-grade security, and compliance frameworks. It addresses the market pain point where traditional staking locks assets, reducing liquidity, while also meeting the high standards of security and regulatory compliance that institutions require.
In the past six months (March to September 2026), Liquid Collective expanded its Solana staking product (LsSOL), following the SEC's favorable statement on liquid staking tokens. It also onboarded new institutional partners like FalconX and ParaFi Technologies, broadening its ecosystem. The protocol continued to focus on enabling T+1 settlement for staked assets, a key barrier to mainstream ETF adoption. No major negative events were reported during this period.
Alluvial, the development company behind the enterprise-grade liquid staking protocol Liquid Collective, has reached two significant milestones. In November 2024, Alluvial completed a $4.3 million strategic financing round led by Variant, with participation from existing investors, bringing its total pre-acquisition funding to $22.5 million. This round supported the protocol's growth as its total value locked approached $1 billion. In December 2025, Galaxy Digital acquired Alluvial, making Galaxy the new Development Company for Liquid Collective. This acquisition expanded Galaxy's institutional staking infrastructure and brought Alluvial's engineering team and technology, including a customizable staking management system, under Galaxy's umbrella. Liquid Collective continues to operate independently under The Liquid Foundation, with plans to broaden governance to include more institutional stakeholders. These events mark Alluvial's evolution from a startup to a key player in institutional liquid staking.
In the past six months (2026-03-13 to 2026-09-13), Alluvial's main official development was the launch of Commercials V3 on May 1, 2026. New v1 reporting endpoints expose platform, originator, and operator fees and rates (e.g., /eth/v1/platforms/{date}), while v0 endpoints stop populating platform fees/rates from that date and retain historical data only through 2026-04-30; official guidance is to migrate to v1 for relevant periods.
No clear future development priorities or roadmap have been officially announced.
