About Zellic

Zellic is a blockchain security auditing and consulting firm. Its services cover smart contract audits, zero-knowledge proof circuit reviews, web application security, cryptographic implementations, hardware wallets, and program analysis using fuzzing and formal verification. Clients include LayerZero, SushiSwap, StarkWare, Wormhole, and PancakeSwap.

Zellic's core strength lies in its offensive security mindset and deep technical expertise. The team has discovered critical vulnerabilities, including a Move bytecode verifier bug that put billions of dollars at risk across multiple chains. They also formally proved the security of WETH using the Z3 solver, and are members of Uniswap's Bridge Assessment Committee.

The market pain point Zellic addresses is the limitation of single-method audits. Traditional consulting audits and competitive audits each have blind spots. Zellic acquired Code4rena to combine both approaches, offering clients more comprehensive protection.

In the past six months (March to September 2026), Zellic has been active in several areas: SEAL Certifications opened for business in June 2026, with analyses run across 25+ protocols in DeFi, staking, and treasury management. In May 2026, Zellic announced crypto deals supporting YC-funded fintech builders, covering wallets, onramps, audits, and onchain data tools. The team also competed in the 5th International Cybersecurity Challenge in May 2026, hosted alongside AUSCERT.

In the past six months, Zellic officially launched V12, an autonomous Solidity auditing tool combining AI/LLM with traditional static analysis, which has identified 39 high/critical vulnerabilities in real engagements and will be offered as a free public version. It is planned to integrate V12 into Zellic/Zenith audits and Code4rena competitions and bug bounties.

Zellic continued its validator initiative, returning 50% of profits as audit credits to ecosystems like Injective and Sei, with over $500K in credits already granted, funding audits for TruStake, Takara Lend, Sailor Finance, and other core protocols. It also released multiple audit reports, including Flare Smart Accounts, FSP V1/V2, and Stork Oracle.

Future priorities include expanding V12 to support more languages and L1s, such as Solana Rust, integrating it into GitHub Actions for CI/CD, and growing the validator model to provide sustainable security funding for broader ecosystems.
