About Stronghold

Stronghold is a fintech infrastructure company building bank payment and embedded payment rails, and it issues the SHx utility token. Its APIs let businesses embed ACH collection and disbursement, clearing and settlement into their own products, with settlement measured in seconds rather than days, and let organisations build or join a StrongholdNET virtual payment network. SHx was issued first on Stellar and settles under the Stellar consensus protocol, later extending to Ethereum, Solana and XRPL, where it carries merchant rewards, fee offsets and ecosystem governance: merchants accrue points per dollar of volume and redeem them for SHx or processing-fee discounts, and SHx is tied to a merchant financing product repaid automatically as a fixed share of sales.

Cross-chain movement runs on Axelar, and on 16 February 2026 SHx began bridging between Stellar and Ethereum with a unified 1:1 supply, reachable through the Squid router. On 18 September 2026 SHx listed on BitTrade, an exchange licensed by Japan's Financial Services Agency, opening yen-denominated trading and recurring purchases.

Milestone: On June 30 the Solana bridge (powered by Axelar and Squid) went live, making SHx transferable across Stellar, Ethereum, XRPL and Solana; on September 16 SHx listed on BitTrade, an FSA-licensed Japanese exchange and its first Asian listing.

Incentives: On July 15 the Ecosystem Development Program update highlighted community tools including escrow alerts and a multi-language community portal.

Stronghold opened the SHx bridge to XRP Ledger on April 13, 2026, routed through Squid and Axelar and driven by Governance Vote 8; the Solana bridge went live on June 30, taking SHx to Stellar, Ethereum, Solana and XRPL. The July 15 Ecosystem Development Program update covered escrow alert tooling and a community portal upgrade, and in September SHx listed on BitTrade in Japan.

Stronghold's roadmap pursues multi-chain withdrawals, automated escrow notifications, and more regulated exchange listings across 2026-2027 on the back of the Japanese approval.
