Sogni AI

Sogni AI is a decentralized creative AI platform built on a DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network) model. It aggregates global GPU computing power through a distributed worker network to provide AI-powered image, video, and music generation services. Its core business includes a user-facing creative app (Sogni Create), an OpenAI-compatible API for developers, and a worker node program that lets individuals contribute idle GPU resources and earn SOGNI tokens.

The platform's key differentiator is its decentralized infrastructure. Unlike centralized AI services, user prompts and generated content are processed in sandboxed, encrypted environments on worker nodes, reducing privacy risks. The network runs on the Base blockchain (with Etherlink as a low-fee layer), and uses a dual-token model: SOGNI (an ERC-20 token for governance and worker rewards) and Spark Points (prepaid credits for stable, wallet-free payments). This addresses the market pain points of high AI compute costs, data privacy concerns, and the concentration of AI resources in a few large companies.

In the past six months (March to September 2026), Sogni has transitioned from testnet to mainnet, with the Supernet now live on Base. The SOGNI token is listed on major tracking platforms, and Etherlink integration provides cheaper transactions. The platform introduced the Monthly Boost program (400 free Spark points per month), referral rewards, and quests to attract users. Worker infrastructure was expanded with dedicated Fast Worker (Windows/Linux Docker) and LLM Worker (for running large language models) options, alongside the existing macOS Studio Pro worker mode. These developments show a shift from testing to real-world usage, with a focus on growing both the user base and the compute supply side of the network.
