About Seed Club
Seed Club is a network for DAO builders and operators, functioning as an accelerator that helps community-driven web3 projects launch and grow. Its core business is a cohort-based program where selected teams receive 6-8 weeks of mentorship, covering topics like DAO treasury management, token design, community building, and legal frameworks. Each project is paired with a WayFinder, an expert who provides hands-on support throughout the program. In exchange, Seed Club receives 3% of the project's tokens as a service fee, not as an investment.
The core value proposition lies in its strong community network and media influence. Seed Club has built a powerful voice in the web3 space through podcasts and a network of aligned creators, helping alumni projects gain visibility and consensus. The pain point it addresses is the lack of structured support for early-stage DAOs—many community projects fail due to poor tokenomics, weak community engagement, or lack of operational expertise. Seed Club provides a proven framework and access to top practitioners.
In the past six months (March to September 2026), Seed Club has continued its accelerator cohorts and expanded its ecosystem. It invested in Pixie Chess (seed round, April 2026) and Nava (seed round, April 2026) through its independent venture arm, Seed Club Ventures, which focuses on early-stage DAO tools and web3 infrastructure. The ventures operate separately from the accelerator, with 50% of carry donated back to the Seed Club DAO. No significant negative developments were reported during this period, though the project remains highly selective—only about 10% of applicants are accepted into each cohort.
Seed Club began in the summer of 2020 as an 11-person Telegram group chat focused on social tokens, evolving into a learning community before formalizing into an accelerator.
In 2021, Seed Club launched its accelerator program, which incubated over 50 DAO projects across four cohorts (including Cabin, Forefront, and GCR), with a competitive 10:1 selection rate. The accelerator charges a 3% token fee (or NFT) as service compensation rather than providing direct funding, establishing a sustainable revenue model for the DAO.
A pivotal milestone came in March 2023 when Seed Club Ventures emerged from stealth with a $25 million fund backed by Multicoin Capital, Delphi Digital, Dragonfly Capital, and others. The venture arm had been quietly investing since Q3 2021, backing projects like Guild, Stability AI, Lens, and Metalabel, with checks ranging from $100,000 to $1 million.
Seed Club also onboarded strategic partners including Union Square Ventures (USV) to diversify its treasury and expand its network, strengthening its position as the leading network for DAO builders and operators.
