About Salus Security
Salus Security is a blockchain security firm offering smart contract auditing, Web3 penetration testing, and zero-knowledge (ZK) security solutions. Its differentiators include a “manual review + executable PoC report” methodology, ML-assisted detection, and a proprietary ZK vulnerability framework, covering ecosystems such as EVM, Solana, TON, and Bitcoin L2s. Its public audit archive is sizable: 89 reports were released in 2025 and 7 more so far in 2026, along with a March 2026 security report. In the past six months, Salus also monitored a phishing case in which a user lost about 550,000 USDC after clicking a Google-sponsored ad that led to a fake Hyperliquid site. On the negative side, no major post-audit exploit has been reported, but auditor independence has been questioned because its client list includes the affiliated project ZEROBASE.
In September 2022, Salus Security completed a seed funding round led by Binance Labs, becoming a key part of Binance's blockchain security strategy and gaining both capital and industry resources.
In December 2023, its research was published in Nature's sub-journal Scientific Reports, proposing a deep learning-based smart contract vulnerability detection solution and the Lightning Cat tool, achieving a 93.53% F1 score on the SolidiFI benchmark and earning academic recognition.
In 2025, Salus grew into one of the industry's highest-throughput audit firms, publishing 89 public audit reports covering EVM, Solana, TON, Bitcoin L2, and more, with clients including Polyhedra, Lorenzo, and Yala, solidifying its long-term position in ZK security and cross-chain auditing.
Key progress in the past six months: In July 2026, Salus and GoPlus became official Provider Agents on TermiX, BNB Chain's AI-agent settlement layer, offering smart contract audits and penetration testing covering formal verification, fuzzing, and ML-based vulnerability detection (e.g., reentrancy, privilege escalation) . On August 24, Salus published an investigation linking a $550K Hyperliquid user loss to Inferno Drainer phishing infrastructure, tracing fund flows, identifying 80%/15%/5% splits, and connecting roughly $52.74M in multi-incident losses, including UXLINK and CoW.fi cases; evidence was submitted to relevant organizations .
Future focus: Salus emphasizes scientific-research-driven Web3 security, continuing to expand smart contract audits, Web3 penetration testing, and zero-knowledge (ZK) solutions under a Protect/Discover/Redefine vision; no detailed quantified roadmap has been published .
