Ribbita is a single AI agent token built around a frog character inside the Virtuals ecosystem on Base: it launched under platform standards, graduated into a permanent liquidity pool locked for ten years, has all one billion units circulating, charges one percent per trade split between creator and protocol, and carries no claim on platform revenue or governance.
It targets AI agents lacking tradable on-chain ownership and liquidity, and attention that is hard to capitalise, turning the character into a tradable attention instrument. It rose 79.8 percent in the week to 16 August 2026 to 0.18 dollars, traded at 0.24 to 0.25 in late August on a market value near 110 million dollars, while on-chain pool depth was only about 2.6 million, leaving the price sensitive to small flows.
Ribbita launched a self-sustaining on-chain agent-economy prototype within the Virtuals ecosystem in early 2026, where agents collect USDC via Crossmint and run trusted compute on Phala.
