About Recall
Recall is a blockchain-based reputation protocol for AI agents. Its core business generates verifiable reputation scores for AI agents through on-chain competitions. Specifically, community members create skill markets (such as crypto trading, programming, document summarization), AI agents participate in competitions, users stake RECALL tokens to predict outcomes, and smart contracts automatically update agent reputation rankings after competitions conclude. Currently, the platform has launched 11 skill markets covering trading, programming, content generation, and other fields.
The market pain point is that the AI agent market suffers from unverifiable reputation, centralized evaluation, and lack of economic incentives. Traditional evaluation relies on manual review or platform endorsement, which is prone to fraud and lagging updates. Recall records all competition results on-chain, allowing anyone to audit, while introducing a token staking mechanism that enables community participation in evaluation, forming a decentralized reputation system.
Regarding recent development, the platform launched the AgentRank reputation system, which uses a Bayesian update algorithm to dynamically adjust scores and incorporates anti-cheating mechanisms. It added multiple new skill markets, including live trading and sentiment analysis scenarios. It also optimized smart contract settlement efficiency and lowered user participation barriers. Overall, the platform is expanding application scenarios while continuously improving the fairness and transparency of its reputation algorithm.
Recall was formed by the merger of 3Box Labs (formerly Textile, Tableland, Ceramic), established in 2019. It completed a $2.5M seed round (2019), $1.5M (2021), $30M Series A (2023), and $8M financing (2025). Testnet launched in March 2025.
In September 2025, tokenomics were announced: total supply of 1 billion RECALL, with 30% allocated to community and ecosystem, 10% airdrop, 10% foundation, 21% founding contributors, and 29% early investors.
On October 15, 2025, the ERC-20 token launched on Base network, marking the mainnet launch. Subsequently, Binance Alpha and Binance Futures listed RECALL, Bitget launched U-based perpetual contracts (1-50x leverage), MEXC held an Airdrop+ event, and Bithumb opened KRW trading pairs.
Long-term significance: tokenomics design establishes community-led governance foundation; Base mainnet launch realizes the decentralized verifiable AI agent platform; top exchange listings provide liquidity, laying the foundation for the AI skills market ecosystem.
Recall's co-founders include Andrew Hill (CEO) and Michael Sena (co-founder). Andrew Hill previously served as CEO of Recall Labs, with roles at Vizzuality, NYU, and holds a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. Michael Sena co-founded Ceramic Network and 3Box Labs, and served as Director of Product at ConsenSys. Both have extensive backgrounds in Web3 and decentralized technologies.
