About Quanto

Quanto, formerly OX.FUN, is a crypto derivatives platform on Base chain. Its key milestones:

In February 2024, OX.FUN completed a $4 million seed round with GenBlock Capital and Double Peak Group, valuing it at approximately $40 million.

In March 2025, Su Zhu (co-founder of 3AC) announced he would take over leadership, promising clearer strategy and team expansion. This followed the JefeDAO incident in February 2025, where the platform froze $1 million USDC deposits over alleged market manipulation, causing OX to drop 60%.

On March 24, 2025, OX.FUN released a roadmap focusing on on-chain transparency (reserve proofs by Q2), multi-chain collateral support, OX Quanto trading, and Hyperliquid USDC futures integration.

The platform later rebranded to Quanto. Community concerns emerged over undisclosed issuance of 9.8 billion OX tokens, raising fears of potential liquidation or rug pull. Despite this, OX token surged over 37% in 24 hours at one point, showing continued market interest.
