About Nirvana Labs
Nirvana Labs is a Web3-focused cloud provider founded in 2020 built on bare metal: single-tenant physical machines, a very thin hypervisor, high-clock CPUs, accelerated block storage and private fibre, aimed at latency-sensitive workloads such as sequencers, validators, routing engines and intent executors. Resources are split into four layers, compute, storage, networking and Kubernetes orchestration, so a customer can spin up instances, attach storage and join private interconnect from one console.
Against general-purpose clouds the pitch is no shared tenancy, no egress charges and linear pricing by configuration, with storage tuned for always-hot data at 20,000 baseline and up to 600,000 burst IOPS. Customers include BitGo, Chainlink, Fireblocks, Nansen, RedStone and Goldsky, mostly for indexing, oracle and settlement nodes. Its data centre footprint is currently concentrated in Silicon Valley, so cross-region redundancy has to be built by the customer.
Nirvana Labs has made significant strides in H1 2026. Key launches include the Nirvana Kubernetes Service (NKS), which offers managed clusters with built-in load balancing and ABS storage. The company also introduced Agent Sandboxes, priced 20% below leading managed providers, for persistent AI agent development. Performance-wise, ABS (Accelerated Block Storage) demonstrated 10-14x faster cold-read performance than AWS gp3 and comparable behavior to io2 at a fraction of the cost, with 20K sustained IOPS per VM. The company published a comprehensive LangChain Agent Infrastructure Benchmark (100K tasks, 1,000 concurrent agents), showing 14-17% faster task completion and 19% more throughput than AWS io2. Enterprise controls (Organizations, SAML SSO, Audit Logs) and self-serve billing were also rolled out.
Looking ahead, Nirvana Labs plans to expand NKS capabilities, deepen focus on real-time and data-heavy workloads (Web3, AI, analytics), and continue making high performance the default—not a premium add-on. The roadmap emphasizes further product upgrades, new use cases, and maintaining the mission of no throttling or burst credits.
