About LeverFi
LeverFi is a leveraged trading protocol that evolved from the Ramp platform. Its core business includes LeverTrade, a leveraged spot trading platform supporting up to 10x leverage; OmniZK, a modular zero-knowledge proof protocol designed to enhance Bitcoin network performance; and LeverPro, an asset issuance platform for BRC-20 tokens. The protocol's key narrative centers on expanding DeFi capabilities into the Bitcoin ecosystem, addressing Bitcoin's limited smart contract functionality and scalability. OmniZK achieves this by outsourcing complex computations to EVM networks and returning verified results to Bitcoin via zero-knowledge proofs, while LeverPro facilitates early-stage token launches. The market pain points LeverFi addresses include Bitcoin's inability to support complex financial operations and the fragmented liquidity across decentralized exchanges. Regarding recent developments, a significant negative event occurred: in April 2026, Gate.io announced it would not support the conversion of LEVER tokens to the new Sedunia (SED) tokens, delisted LEVER trading pairs on April 18, 2026, and urged users to withdraw their tokens by April 21, 2026. This token migration and exchange delisting represent a major transition for the project, potentially affecting token liquidity and user access.
LeverFi was co-founded by Lawrence Lim (CEO) and Loh Zheng Rong (Marketing Lead). Lawrence Lim began his career in traditional finance in 2012, working in private banking and M&A before transitioning to crypto via IOST. Loh Zheng Rong holds a B.B.A. from Singapore Management University, co-founded NOX (a blockchain infrastructure company) in 2018, and previously served as managing partner at Merkle Ventures. He later joined LeverFi as Operations Lead and Marketing Lead.
