About JUNO

Details

Juno Network is a permissionless cross-chain smart contract network built on the Cosmos SDK, using Tendermint consensus and the CosmWasm virtual machine. It enables developers to deploy smart contracts written in Rust and leverages the IBC protocol for cross-chain interoperability. The native token JUNO is used for transaction fees, on-chain governance, and staking to secure the network. Juno supports applications such as DAOs, decentralized exchanges, and NFTs, and provides modules like FeeShare that allow developers to earn a portion of contract transaction fees.
