About Humanode
Humanode is a Layer-1 blockchain that uses cryptographically secure biometric verification to enforce a 'one human, one node, one vote' model. Its core business is providing a privacy-preserving identity layer for Web3, where users verify their uniqueness and liveness through encrypted face scans without exposing raw biometric data. The platform is EVM-compatible, allowing developers to integrate anti-Sybil mechanisms into dApps, DAOs, and other on-chain systems.
The main market pain point Humanode addresses is the vulnerability of existing consensus mechanisms (PoW/PoS) to capital-driven centralization and Sybil attacks, where wealthy entities or bots can control network governance. Humanode replaces capital-based validation with human-based validation, ensuring equal voting power for all participants. This is particularly relevant as AI-generated fake identities proliferate, making traditional identity checks unreliable.
In the past six months (Feb–Aug 2026), Humanode has focused on strengthening its testnet infrastructure, conducting public biometric verification trials, and expanding partnerships with projects needing Sybil resistance. The network has also been preparing for broader ecosystem adoption by refining its SDK and developer tools, enabling smoother integration of biometric identity checks into third-party applications. While specific metrics are limited, the project has maintained active community engagement and continued technical iterations toward mainnet readiness.
