About Glow Finance
Glow Finance is a decentralized margin trading protocol on Solana, built by the Blueprint Finance team. It integrates lending, trading, yield, and liquid restaking into a single non-custodial interface, with its core being a "margin account + modular components" liquidity engine. Users can manage assets, borrow funds, and execute complex strategies through margin accounts, which support sub-accounts for risk isolation.
Its core competitive advantage lies in cross-protocol composable leverage. The flagship strategy is leveraged SOL restaking: users deposit SOL, receive glowSOL (a liquid restaking token wrapping sSOL), borrow SOL, and hold glowSOL, thereby remaining neutral to SOL price movements while earning staking rewards and dual Glow/Solayer points. Unless the SOL-sSOL peg breaks, there is no liquidation risk.
The market pain point is that traditional liquid staking tokens lack composability and strategic flexibility, forcing users to choose between liquidity, yield, and complex DeFi strategies. Glow addresses this by integrating lending and trading functions.
Recent development: In March 2026, the Glow Vault launched as Perena's first curated USDT vault on Solana, in collaboration with Concrete, offering approximately 8.5% APY through delta-neutral quantitative strategies. The vault deploys USDT into perpetual DEXs and lending protocols, earning yield through funding rate arbitrage and basis trading without directional price exposure. Users can request withdrawals at any time, with processing taking approximately 7-11 days.
Glow Finance originated from the lending protocol Jet Protocol. In October 2024, Blueprint Finance acquired Jet and fully restructured it, redefining its product positioning. The team had previously built the Ethereum-based yield protocol Concrete, which accumulated over $650 million in TVL. On April 14, 2025, Glow Finance officially launched on the Solana mainnet, introducing a leveraged SOL restaking strategy that combines margin accounts with modular components. The team stated that Glow's architecture is prepared for future expansion into SVM-based ecosystems such as Fogo and Atlas, marking a strategic step beyond Solana.
In the past six months, Glow Finance launched its first curated USDT vault (Glow Vault) in March 2026, in collaboration with Perena and Concrete, offering delta-neutral quantitative strategy yields with an APY of approximately 8.5% and 7-11 day withdrawals. This is a key development during this period. No official roadmap has been announced.
