Firewall is a blockchain security infrastructure company providing a modular security layer for rollups. Its core products include the Safe Sequencer, Firewall EVM, and Proof of Exploit (PoE) Consensus.

In terms of specific business, Firewall performs real-time detection of transactions using AI/ML models before they are included in blocks, intercepting malicious transactions to prevent smart contract exploits. The Firewall EVM is implemented in Rust, and PoE Consensus uses zero-knowledge proofs to verify sequencer behavior compliance, ensuring system transparency and trustworthiness.

Regarding market pain points, the DeFi sector loses billions of dollars annually to hacker attacks. Traditional security solutions (such as audits and bug bounties) are mostly reactive and cannot prevent fund theft during an attack. Firewall moves security protection to the transaction packaging stage, blocking attacks at the source.

Its core competitiveness lies in its low false positive rate (Low FPR) design—it does not mistakenly affect legitimate transactions. It also maintains non-custodial characteristics, meaning user assets are always controlled by users themselves. If falsely flagged, users can still retrieve assets through L1 forced inclusion, balancing security with decentralization.

Regarding development in the past half year, Firewall has continued advancing its Closed Alpha testing, opening early access to the Firewall EVM for community members, security partners, and rollup developers. It has focused on optimizing interception capabilities for common vulnerabilities such as reentrancy attacks, while gradually expanding coverage to more exploit types.
