About Extended

Extended is a non-custodial perpetuals exchange on Starknet that puts crypto alongside equity, commodity and FX exposure into one margin account. It targets onchain derivatives that margin a single asset, require separate accounts for cross-asset strategies, and offer little access to traditional exposure.

The mechanism matches and settles on the Layer 2 with zero-knowledge proofs, uses stablecoins as margin, shares margin across positions for capital efficiency, and charges market makers nothing to attract liquidity. By late September 2026 it had distributed about 68.7 million points. Scale remains far below leading perpetual venues, and access is restricted for users in the US, UK and elsewhere. Points currently only record trading activity, with no conversion announced.

Extended (formerly X10), founded by ex-Revolut staff, launched on StarkEx in late 2024 and completed a three-stage migration to Starknet mainnet in August 2025, enabling EVM wallet compatibility and unified margin logic at the base layer — a foundation for multi-asset perps and zk-verified execution. Cumulative volume surpassed $92B and TVL exceeded $200M.

In July 2026, Extended closed a $12.5M strategic round led by eToro with Jump Crypto participating, advancing on-chain infrastructure for broader access to traditional financial markets.

In August 2026, Extended announced results of its points-program cleanup, removing over 5.03 million manipulated points across 4,017 accounts and 35 identified Sybil operations, returning those points to the program budget while keeping the 70M cap. This is a significant governance milestone ahead of the EXT airdrop, protecting genuine early contributors and strengthening anti-Sybil measures.

Extended closed a $12.5 million strategic round on July 2, 2026 led by eToro with participation from Jump Crypto and Alber Blanc, bringing total funding to about $19 million. The raise also launched a strategic partnership to integrate Extended's perpetual futures engine into Zengo, the self-custody wallet acquired by eToro, letting users trade onchain derivatives while keeping assets in self-custody. Extended uses Starknet's StarkEx for high-speed off-chain matching with onchain self-custodial settlement, up to 100x leverage and 100+ crypto and TradFi markets, and had processed over $245 billion in cumulative volume as of June 2026.

Future strategy and roadmap: Extended's 70 million-point cap was reached around October 2026 and the team says the EXT token is expected shortly after the points program ends, roughly in the fourth quarter of 2026, though launch date and conversion ratio remain unannounced. Next it will prioritize spot trading, tokenized real-world assets, multi-asset collateral and cross-margin accounts, integrate its perp engine into eToro's self-custody Zengo wallet, and follow a three-step roadmap from perp DEX to unified-margin lending to an open financial ecosystem while decentralizing its sequencer.
