About Cyfrin

Cyfrin is a smart contract security auditing company. Its services include code audits, penetration testing, formal verification, security advisory, incident response, and security research. Its public vulnerability database contains a large collection of blockchain exploits and samples for developers and security researchers.

At the industry level, hackers steal more than $2 billion from blockchain protocols every year, mostly due to preventable code flaws, and many attacked protocols never underwent a formal audit. Cyfrin's competitive edge lies in its understanding of complex DeFi protocols and its ability to find critical vulnerabilities even in code already reviewed by other audit firms.

In the past six months, Cyfrin launched Cygent, an AI security engineer built on its internal audit engine CARA. Cygent can automatically detect vulnerabilities, generate fix code, verify the build, and open pull requests, extending audits from issue reporting to complete remediation. Its public audit report repository continues to be updated, with reports such as Spiral Stake V2 published in March 2026.

In the past six months, Cyfrin launched two core products:

  1. BattleChain testnet (launched March 2026): a pre-mainnet blockchain allowing whitehat hackers to legally attack smart contracts to uncover vulnerabilities. The platform ensures legality via Safe Harbor agreements, with plans to introduce prediction markets and private transactions (Prividium).

  2. Cygent: an AI security engineer that automatically audits code, identifies vulnerabilities, generates fixes, and submits PRs, supporting multiple languages and integrations.

Future focus: BattleChain mainnet launch, refining prediction markets and private transactions; Cygent continues to enhance AI capabilities, expand support for more programming languages and frameworks, and strengthen SOC2 compliance.
