About Cube3
CUBE3.AI is a Web3 real-time transaction security platform that combines on-chain smart contracts with off-chain machine learning. Its core product is a blockchain RASP (Runtime Application Self-Protection) system, functioning like a Web3 application firewall (W3AF). Developers can add the cube3Protected modifier to public or external functions in their smart contracts, enabling transactions to be checked against CUBE3's Risk API before execution; those exceeding a risk threshold are reverted on-chain.
The core value proposition is real-time threat detection powered by ML models that analyze historical and live blockchain data across chains including Ethereum, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum, and BNB. Each transaction receives a dynamic risk score (1-100) based on factors such as origin, destination, velocity, amount, and behavioral correlation. The system detects emerging laundering techniques like chain-hopping, mixing services, and obfuscation methods, going beyond simple address blacklists.
Market pain points addressed: traditional transaction monitoring relies on historical data, which is insufficient against increasingly sophisticated criminal tactics. CeFi institutions face compliance risks from accepting illicit funds, while DeFi protocols suffer from hacks, exploits, and wallet attacks. CUBE3 provides automated detection and reporting tools that help institutions demonstrate regulatory compliance and reduce manual investigation workloads.
Recent developments (2026-03-12 to 2026-09-12): RASP 2.0 was released with easier integration and significantly lower gas costs. Transaction simulation was added as a core feature of the Validation API, now executed by default on all requests. The Management API gained full programmatic control over alerts, including delete, destination management, enable/disable, and custom filters. Fifteen new off-chain signals related to fraud and illicit activity were added, enhancing detection of investment fraud, impersonation, and romance scams. Addresses with zero on-chain history now receive a default score of 45 (Warning) with a Limited Reputation label across supported EVM networks. Entity coverage expanded for VASPs and decentralized protocols.
Notable negative: the protocol relies on off-chain CUBE3 services, meaning it is not fully decentralized. A delinquent or malicious integration can only be denied access to modules by having the router return early, and the protocol cannot intentionally revert an integration's transactions.
