About Borderless
Borderless is a stablecoin orchestration and liquidity platform that provides global payment infrastructure. Its core business is to connect stablecoins (like USDC, USDT) with local fiat rails across 260+ corridors in 108 countries, offering a single API for cross-border payments. The platform aggregates multiple stablecoin providers, blockchain networks, and local payment schemes (e.g., PIX, UPI, SEPA) into one unified interface.
The main pain point it solves is the fragmentation of the stablecoin payment stack. Traditionally, a business wanting to send cross-border payments via stablecoins must integrate with multiple providers, manage different blockchains, handle FX conversion, and ensure compliance across jurisdictions. Borderless replaces this with a single integration that handles provider selection, routing, FX, and compliance automatically. Its "credibly neutral" positioning means it doesn't favor any specific stablecoin or provider, allowing customers to optimize for price, speed, or reliability.
In the past six months (March to September 2026), Borderless expanded its Latin American coverage by adding Cobre as a network partner, deepening liquidity in Mexico and Colombia. The platform now supports 377 payout routes across seven blockchains, with 82 corridors having multiple active providers for failover. Its Q2 2026 benchmark report showed stablecoin delivery prices consistently beating traditional bank rates, with the median cost advantage widening throughout the quarter. The network also added support for additional local payment schemes, bringing the total to 22 active rails.
Borderless.xyz has made significant strides in H1 2026. In August, it partnered with Mastercard to explore Crypto Credential for trusted cross-border stablecoin payments. It also onboarded CrissCross as a PFI, expanding coverage across Africa with access to 15+ mobile money operators, available to existing customers via the same API. In May, Borderless integrated with Hinkal to introduce a privacy layer, enabling shielded stablecoin balances without changing the existing API or workflows. In April, it launched Provider Balances, allowing customers to hold multi-currency fiat positions funded by stablecoins, with conversion occurring only when needed. These developments underscore Borderless's focus on expanding global reach, enhancing trust through compliance, and adding privacy features, while maintaining a single-integration model for its network of 15+ licensed providers across 100+ countries.
