He Yi: UID does not have duplicate numbers, Binance's local fiat platform does not share accounts

Binance co-founder He Yi responded to users' reports of "UID collision leading to asset loss," stating that Binance users' UIDs are independent and unique, and there is no collision issue.

He Yi explained that the user mistakenly entered the UID directly for the transfer when moving funds from the main Binance site to Binance Thailand and did not carefully verify during the secondary confirmation stage. After the incident, He Yi and four employees continued to follow up and promptly assisted in freezing the relevant funds. As the recipient user is inactive and has not responded, communication and negotiation are still ongoing.

He Yi reminded that local fiat trading platforms such as Binance Turkey, Binance Thailand, and Binance US are independent platforms that do not share account systems. Users should carefully verify addresses and UIDs when transferring or withdrawing funds.
