Ed Yardeni, president of Yardeni Research, stated that as inflation is expected to gradually cool, the yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury bond appears very attractive as it approaches 5%.
He believes that productivity improvements will drive inflation down, with the inflation outlook for the next 10 years between 2% and 2.5%, and the yield on the 10-year U.S. Treasury bond fluctuating between 4% and 5%.
