TeraWulf receives support from Google Credit Financing to advance the $19 billion Anthropic data center project
TeraWulf announced that it has signed a credit support agreement with Google to provide financing support for its Justified data center campus project in Hawesville, Kentucky, USA, which corresponds to a long-term lease commitment of approximately $19 billion signed with Anthropic. Google will provide contractual credit support for the expected debt financing, and Alphabet's senior unsecured debt currently holds a rating of AA+ from S&P and Aa2 from Moody's.
According to the project schedule, the relevant data centers are expected to begin phased delivery by the end of 2027 and continue into the second quarter of 2028. TeraWulf stated that this agreement will further enhance the project's financing framework and strengthen construction execution capabilities, driving its long-term AI and high-performance computing (HPC) leasing demand into sustainable cash flow.
