Foreign media: If the Republican Party loses in the midterm elections, Trump may be more inclined to launch military action against Iran

According to Axios, a U.S. official stated that if the Republicans suffer a crushing defeat in the midterm elections, Trump may be more inclined to order a large-scale military action.

The official said, "If Trump feels embarrassed or deprived of power, he will take bold actions. Everyone has told the Iranians this. Now is the best time for them to reach an agreement," however, a White House official stated that the election results will not affect Trump's decision-making on Iran.
