Hunter Biden, son of Biden, stated that over 12% of the total supply of LAPTOP tokens has been permanently destroyed. Among them, 30% of LAPTOP tokens are linked to real-world prediction results: if the relevant predictions come true, the corresponding tokens will be destroyed; if the predictions are not realized, the tokens will be donated to charity.

This destruction was triggered by predictions related to the Nobel Peace Prize and also includes all unclaimed airdrop tokens.
