CFTC: S&P 500 futures net short positions decreased by 5,804 contracts

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) reported that as of the week ending October 13, stock fund speculators reduced their net short positions in CME S&P 500 index futures by 5,804 contracts, to 390,896 contracts.
