Standard Chartered Bank: Obtained VARA license from the UAE, launching BTC and ETH trading services for affluent clients

According to official disclosure, Standard Chartered announced that it has obtained licensing approval from the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) of the UAE, officially launching cryptocurrency trading solutions for professional investors in the UAE.

Eligible affluent clients can buy and sell Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) directly through their existing bank accounts, without the need to set up independent wallets or use third-party platforms.
