Interlace, together with multiple ecological partners, launched a white paper on stablecoin payment infrastructure, exploring the transition from on-chain settlement to real-world payments
The stablecoin infrastructure platform Interlace announced a joint initiative with several industry organizations including OSL, AllScale, Stable, Hetu, Cregis, WIDTH, KEM, and KTX to launch the white paper titled "2026 Stablecoin Payment Infrastructure Status: From On-Chain Settlement to Real-World Payments."
As stablecoins gradually transition from crypto asset tools to global financial infrastructure, related payment activities are also growing rapidly. In the first quarter of 2026, the trading volume of stablecoins has exceeded $28 trillion; the B2B payment scale of stablecoins reached $22.6 billion in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 733%.
However, as stablecoin payments continue to expand into commercial scenarios, the industry still lacks a systematic framework regarding the specific coverage capabilities of stablecoin infrastructure and how to integrate on-chain assets with real-world business activities.
This white paper will focus on this industry gap, discussing topics such as stablecoin payment infrastructure, end-to-end costs, compliance and risk control, and enterprise scalability. It will combine industry data, practical experience, and real cases to further outline the development path of stablecoin payment infrastructure. The complete white paper is expected to be officially released in the next 1-2 months.
