At the 2026 Wonderful and Marvelous Night co-hosted by Douyin and Beijing Satellite TV, the founder of Film Hurricane, Pan Tianhong, demonstrated a world model. This model can generate an explorable virtual environment based on text descriptions, allowing users on-site to roam within the generated scenes and continue inputting commands to modify the visuals.

Bloomberg reported in September this year that ByteDance is developing a real-time spatial video model based on the video generation model Seedance, supervised by founder Zhang Yiming, with a potential launch as early as October. Related directions include cloud generation, Pico headsets, and Douyin creator tools. ByteDance has not officially confirmed whether this demonstration is the same product as the project, nor has it disclosed the product name, launch time, or detailed performance data.
