Tesla abandons the name "autopilot" to seek approval in Europe

Tesla is downplaying the name Full Self-Driving to seek approval for its driver assistance system in Europe. Tesla has used the name "Tesla Assisted Driving" on its European website, while the U.S. website still refers to it as "Full Self-Driving (Supervised)."
