SEC Chairman Atkins: Hopes to put the stock market on-chain, the financial system is moving towards the crypto era

During a live interview with CNBC, Paul Atkins, the Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), stated that he hopes to promote the stock market to operate on-chain and mentioned that the entire financial system is moving towards Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. The SEC has previously launched an "innovation exemption" that allows eligible trading venues to conduct on-chain trading of tokenized U.S. stocks.
