Yupp.ai announces its closure. The website will remain accessible for the next 15 days, during which users can download chat data. Existing users will not be able to create new conversations starting today, and new users will also be unable to register.

Yupp.ai launched in June 2025, positioned as a bilateral market for AI model evaluation, with the core logic being: effective evaluation of AI models through diverse usage by a large number of users in real scenarios. Pankaj Gupta stated that the reason for the closure is that the landscape of AI model capabilities has changed significantly over the past year—model capabilities have been rapidly improving, and users' ways of using AI are also evolving; a simple chatbot can no longer meet user needs. He mentioned that based on past entrepreneurial experience, choosing to acknowledge problems early, rather than continuing down an uncertain path, is a more prudent decision. The company will return the remaining funds to investors.
